Nick Grimshaw - Breakfast
Nick Grimshaw - Afternoons
Daytime IDs Package
The 8th with Charlie Sloth
Rickie, Melvin & Charlie
Radio 1 Anthems
Weekend Breakfast with Dev & Alice
Since 2015, we’ve worked on a variety of imaging projects for BBC Radio 1.
Our first commission was a breakfast package for Nick Grimshaw. This imaging package delivered a unique and authentic sound which integrated the station’s music policy with young VO talent resulting in a state of the art imaging identity. Matt Fisher and Grimmy’s team wanted a complete overhaul of the current Top of Hour Openers & Show IDs. The new imaging had to be energetic, colourful and embrace Grimmy’s personality plus highlight his A-list celebrity guests.
When Grimmy moved to the Drivetime show we were asked to produce a fresh package of Openers, Beds & IDs for his new Afternoon show
We also delivered a package of over 100 branded intros for BBC Radio 1, assisting the Station Sound team with day-to-day playlist production, in the form of sonically branding the 'Hot Recurrent/Silver' tracks.
Other projects include, The Weekend Breakfast Show with Dev Alice, feature IDs for Matt & Mollie, The 8th with Charlie Sloth, Rickie, Melvin & Charlie and over 100 mixes for Radio 1 Anthems. Our most recent project was building an imaging package for all daytime Presenters including a variety of IDs & Sweepers for use onair, on social media and Podcasting.
We're also proud to play a small role in BBC Radio 1 winning the 2021 ARIAS Gold Award for Best Station Sound.
During the 2020 lockdown the team at Imaging Blueprint were tasked with working alongside the station sound team in rebranding the prestigious Official Chart with Scott Mills.
The package includes a new logo, main theme, ramps, donuts and genre beds to accompany the eclectic taste that makes up the Official Chart.
In October 2021 this package won the Gold Award at the New York Radio Festival for Program ID.
Imaging Blueprint Music Director, Small Paul:
The challenge was finding the right vibe and logo to compliment it. The theme had to have momentum and a positive pace whilst incorporating the sound of ‘now’. You can hear the main theme subtly sing ‘the official chart’ throughout the piece. Once you notice that, it’s very catchy!’
Adam Burgess Imaging Blueprint Director added…
We asked ourselves; what is a chart show? Well, it’s analytical. It’s numbers based. Within various parts of the package we utilized data samples and a Shepard tone to try and reflect this character. Anyone who’s seen the movies ‘Dunkirk’ or ‘The Dark Knight’ will know how effective a Shepard tone can be in creating the illusion of continuously building tension and suspense.’
Tom Cross Imaging Blueprint Director added…
We really enjoyed working on this project with Sam from the Station Sound team. It was a thoroughly collaborative process and a real challenge sonically!
At the start of 2022 we were commissioned to produce a series of Show Openers for BBC Radio 1Xtra's 'Pull Up Mix'.
The Openers have to showcase recent and throwback tracks, blended together with tonal and rhythmic precision.
All beats are sound design were created bespoke for these cuts.
These mixes play twice a day at 10am and 3.45pm.
Below is a peek 'behind the curtain'.
The team partnered with iHeartRadio to help promote the concert for their radio partners around the world.
Producing an Artist lineup promo showcasing the varied musical acts performing at Vax: Live with Selena Gomez on voicing duties for the trailer as she was the host of the event.
Tanya Juhasz - Vice President of International Business Development, iHeartMedia - Premiere Networks: I was tasked to partner radio stations around the world to broadcast iHeartMedia’s ‘Vax Live’ concert. This was a huge event to celebrate vaccines for COVID-19. It was calling on world leaders to set up and make vaccines accessible to everyone, everywhere.
To promote this historic broadcast I asked the team at Imaging Blueprint to compose and create a unique promo trailer highlighting the artists performing at the concert. Voice over duties were read by concert host Selena Gomez, adding some credibility and celebrity sizzle.
Imaging Blueprints absolutely knocked it out the park and with very little turnaround time. The team at iHeartMedia were extremely happy with their work. The trailer reached an estimated 10,000,000 listeners in 66 territories from Ghana to Indonesia, Canada to Japan.
As long term users of IB [CHR/Hot_AC], Bruno & Lucio tasked us with creating a new Jingle package for Radio Globo. Their 4 note Sonic Logo has been used on air for many years and the Jingles remain an very important part of their brand.
Finances were tough at Radio Globo due to the pandemic, but that didn’t stop us from delivering a package and payment structure that exceeded Bruno’s expectation.
Recording international vocalists during lockdown was a tricky task and became a longer process than normal, however the results speak for themselves.
Blueprint Logos debuted on 102.7 KIIS FM, Los Angeles in 2017.
102.7 KIIS FM Imaging Director, Miles Hlivko: "Blueprint Logos from Imaging Blueprint is a fun way to brand KIIS FM. Own the music and confuse the DJs, all without stopping the flow... what’s not to love!”
Imaging Blueprint Music Director, Small Paul: “It’s always such a fun challenge to dissect current production trends. Whether they’re subliminal or hard-hitting, these logos are such a powerful branding tool. What a great honour to have our work played on the iconic KIIS FM in Los Angeles!”
Imaging Blueprint Director, Adam Burgess: “We’d been kicking around this idea for some time. We wanted to offer something that would compliment the music and work either as a stand-alone product or perfectly alongside IB."
Imaging Blueprint Director, Tom Cross: “With so many branding techniques having been done before, trying to find a new proposition in imaging can prove to be difficult. We believe no one is doing it quite like Blueprint Logos and especially not to this standard!”
KIIS & ARN’s portfolio of stations across Australia use Imaging Blueprint's IB [CHR/Hot_AC] to create their station imaging...every day!
Led by Australia's biggest personalities 'Kyle & Jackie O' they’ve had the Number 1 music show in Sydney for years!
"Imaging Blueprint = quality. World class imaging, access to thousands of drops, acapella cuts, liners and more. An impressive library, constantly updated and easy to use, IB is a great tool for any production team!'’
Daniel Bozykowski / Production Manager / KIIS Network
“The one thing you can hope for in a service is that they're always one step ahead of you. With ‘IB’, I already know that they'll have what I need before I need it. Whether it's a specific grab, sfx, instrumental etc, I can always count on them!”
Mike Santos / Former Breakfast Producer / KIIS 105 - Sydney
The Middle East Hot 30
In 2015 we were asked by long time client Virgin Radio to create a launch package for their venture ‘The Middle East Chart Show with iTunes.’
This package needed to have the energy to match the imaging on Virgin Radio Dubai; plus a strong sonic identity, to unify the package and make it stand out.
3 years later the show has been rebranded to ‘The Middle East Hot 30 Countdown with Kris Fade.’
We refreshed the imaging package and added in some local Middle East voice overs to give an authentic local touch to this CHR package.
James Everton, Deputy Content Director, Virgin Radio Dubai: “The Middle East Hot 30 is the only English radio show syndicated throughout the Middle East – we really needed the sound to pop out of the speakers right from the first show! Imaging Blueprint took our brief and nailed it! The imaging fits on any station which carries the show; it's memorable, exciting and completely fresh. We love the use of the sonic logo to create a brand which fits perfectly on Virgin and can be built upon by our Imaging Producers here in Dubai.”
Adam Burgess, Imaging Blueprint Director: “We came, we read the brief and we conquered! This package is a beautiful mesh between chart show imaging staples and beautifully crafted modern CHR production. The team has done an excellent job. We're very proud!”
Tom Cross, Imaging Blueprint Director: “It's been great seeing this package evolve over the last few years and to see the show doing really well, now in 9 countries across the MENA region.”
We’ve had a fantastic relationship with bigFM since the early days of Imaging Blueprint.
The Imaging Blueprint team are constantly evolving the sound of bigFM's morning show with custom cuts that sit sonically next to our IB [CHR/Hot_AC] imaging library.
As well as bespoke throwback imaging, every week Mate Stojic & his team task us to create ear catching customised new music branded intros.
Mate Stojic, Head of OnAir Sound Design: "IB tailors high quality audio fashion perfectly to our needs. Their production has great flow and usability. IB inspires our daily work and expands our creativity."
For over 4 years Imaging Blueprint provided Custom Blueprint for Q102 Philadelphia.
From Jingle Ball launch promos to local contesting sweeps, generic station idents to breakfast production.
Whatever Q102 needed, we produced and turned around in lightning fast time!
Jared Fallon, Former Q102 Program Director: “Each year I set out to find the new sound that helps our imaging evolve. I don’t want Q102 to just raise the bar in Philly, I want Q102 to set the standard for iHeart around the entire country! I knew I found the sound the moment I hit play on Imaging Blueprint’s demo. The artist integration gives our brand solidarity and ownership of our core artists. The energy is incredible without being distracting. If you’re programming a station, this is a must have in your imaging artillery!”|
In 2019 we produced a complete station imaging relaunch package for Montreal’s Virgin Radio along with 10 Jingle themes.
Everything from Music Demos to Smart Speaker IDs, Into commercials ramps to new Music IDs were produced giving the station a cohesive sound.
The team has created Blueprint Logos for NRK since 2018. We've also worked on custom projects for 'P3 Gull' & a Mashup Hour Opener for 'P3 Fridays' .
Christer Johan Pettersen-Dahl, Editor in Chief NRK P3 & NRK mP3: "Blueprint Logos has helped NRK P3 to print our sonic logo into the listeners mind through our music. Our sonic logo sounds just like the artist played it themselves."
"Especially when the guys brand the Norwegian songs, some artist asked us “did I played that for P3”? The presenters love to use the logos, it creates the best transitions on Norwegian radio."
The team at Dubai 92 wanted to give their station a fresh new sound!
The brief... EVERYTHING!
We got to work producing custom Breakfast Jingles, Station IDs, Bespoke Music, Feature IDs, Beat-matched Music Demos and a News Suite to boot!
The 80s & 90s Weekend is a big benchmark for Dubai 92. We were asked to produce a series of Beatmatched Music demonstrators but this time 80s & 90s retro soundbites were blended into the mix.
Did we miss anything out?
Ah yes, they also subscribed (along with sister station Virgin Radio 104.4) to our updating production service, IB [CHR/Hot_AC]. This takes care of all their day-to-day production tasks.
Here's what they had to say…
AJ Traspaderme, Production Manager - Arabian Radio Network: "The guys did a fantastic job making custom beatmatched elements for the 80s & 90s Weekend. We gave them an idea of what we were looking for, not only was the turn around prompt, but the audio delivered blew us away!."
Fiona Winterburn, Head of Programming: "Our new custom package from Imaging Blueprint was exactly what we needed to refresh Dubai 92. Tom & Adam were spot on in creating a package that truly captures our definition for the station. Their work ethic and turnaround is second to none, plus we've taken on their excellent 'Imaging Blueprint' production service!
I look forward to working with them for a long time."
Brad Watson, Music Manager: "I'm very excited to be joining the likes of the impressive roster of Imaging Blueprint clients. These guys really 'get' radio imaging and it shows in our latest imaging update. We lumped them with a pretty large request and it was all produced and delivered to us really fast and sounds amazing."
Owned by CBS Radio, WBMP-FM broadcasted a CHR music format for the New York metropolitan area and has a transmitter atop the Empire State Building.
Amp Radio was a subscriber to our updating production library IB [CHR/Hot_AC]. The team we also asked to created Custom Blueprint cuts for them on a regular basis.
Imaging Director Sean Sarille wanted custom intros and commercial free cuts produced in a cleaner style, plus custom elements for their morning show, ‘Shoboy In The Morning.’
1033 Amp Radio Boston was a long time subscriber to IB [CHR/Hot_AC] before changing format to Adult Hits/JACK in 2020.
As a lover of our production service, the team at Amp Radio Boston put us to the ‘Jingle test’. They wanted IB to create a CHR jingle package with a slight twist. We threw out the standard talk up ramp and block sing. We replaced it with a far more contemporary fluid singing style. Incredibly catching, all involved were over the moon with the results.
Custom Imaging & IB [CHR/Hot_AC]
As well as Detroit’s 98.7 Amp Radio using IB [CHR/Hot_AC] on a daily basis, the team also produced a custom imaging package for their 2015 biggest songs of the year countdown.
Chad Mandichak, 98.7 Amp Radio Imaging Director: "With Imaging Blueprint’s constantly growing library, they make it "almost too easy" to sound current and fresh. They have workparts for every artist on the playlist and just about any occasion or giveaway. Plus their Sound Design is so unique, I’ve never heard anything like it! Imaging Blueprint pushes our energy level through the roof!"
Check out a sample of their imaging produced by Chad & the Blueprint team.
Radio Argovia is a long time subscriber to Imaging Blueprint's IB [CHR/Hot_AC] library.
Every Summer ‘Argovia Fäscht’ is their big concert event and tasked us with creating a Mashup showcasing the lineup of artists. This Mashup was broken down into multiple workparts they could use in Promos and on Social Media video content.
Marius Fuglister, Head of station sound: "We do a big music festival 'Argovia Fäscht' every year, it's our biggest promotion of the year! So we wanted to have a mashup of all our acts on stage in one song. Imaging Blueprint helped us and did a great job with our festival mashup song. It was very powerful for programming and social media videos. The guys made the process really simple for us, we'll work with them again on future mashups for sure."
In 2018 we were asked to introduce a new sound for Today FM, Ireland’s National commercial radio station.
We composed a 10 cut package with tons of mixouts for various shows across the daytime plus a fresh News suite.
All tracks on the A&B playlist get Blueprint Logos every week, constantly updating and making the sonic logo become more and more visible to the audience.
Paul Duffy, Former Head of Station Sound: “Like anything that has so much heritage attached to it; a careful but progressive approach is needed when it comes to a rejuvenation of our station sound! I’ve wanted to work with these guys for quite a while and this was the perfect project to kickstart that working relationship.
Whether it’s a group Skype call digging into the science and mechanics of what we’re doing and why or an email to talk about a riser in a cut, Adam, Tom and Paul are always there.
I couldn’t be happier with the end result and the beauty of this package is this is just the starting line.”
Small Paul, Imaging Blueprint Music Director: “Producing the Logo Intros for Today FM is all about listening very intently to a song and deconstructing it...separating each and every instrument, layer and effect. Once I have identified each part, I replicate each sound for the Today FM sonic melody. It's a complex procedure but we love the finished sound and they sound great onair!”
At the end of 2018, we were asked to inject a fresh new sound to Cork’s 96FM in Ireland.
The Imaging package uses well known American voice-over Harry Legg as well as native female VO; Fiona Scally. The music and sound design are elements courtesy of Imaging Blueprint production service IB [CHR/Hot_AC]; of which Cork’s 96FM is a long term client.
Brendan O’Driscoll, Content Director - Corks 96FM: “As users and big fans of Imaging Blueprint, it seemed only natural to turn to the team behind it for our Custom Blueprint refresh. Imaging Blueprint worked closely with us to create fresh new imaging for Corks 96FM; and we’re thrilled with the end result. All the elements work really well, delivering a contemporary sound with greater momentum…a big thank you to all the team!”
Adam Burgess, Imaging Blueprint Company Director: “It’s been a pleasure to work on this project with the talented team at Corks 96FM. We feel it’s testament to the strength of Imaging Blueprint that our clients order custom packages. It makes us feel very proud of the hard work our IB team put in. We love hearing the new imaging onair.”
Brendan O’Driscoll, Content Director - Corks 96FM: “This custom package has been a lot of fun to produce. It’s allowed us to create a strong sonic identity for their various features and align all the imaging together. We've created something fresh that sets Cork’s 96FM on a new sonic journey.”
iRadio has been a long time subscriber of IB [CHR/Hot_AC]...since day one!
They’re a regional radio station in the Republic of Ireland that broadcasts to the north-east, midlands, north-west and west of the state. The station is one of four regional youth oriented stations that were licensed by the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland to challenge the current duopoly in the 15 to 34.
Imaging Blueprint have also produced Beds for features including News & Entertainment.
Lar Wright, Former Head of Station Sound iRadio: "Production Construction... FROM THE GROUND UP" is about as accurate a statement that could be made about this amazing service. Not only do you have a fully produced city of sound, but you also get all the bricks and mortar to remodel it to suit your station and your own style. I've never seen so many mixouts and elements on any other service, which is why it's second to none. It's easy to navigate with fast server downloads allowing me more time to spend mixing and mashing all the goodies at my disposal."
"Can't find what you're after? No problem! The team is always on hand to help out and I've thrown some serious curve balls in the past, yet they still knock it out of the park and deliver! Imaging Blueprint is THE BEST CHR production service available today! - GET IT!!"
Radio Si - Radio Slovenia International is the first and only foreign language radio station in Slovenia.
We were tasked in taking their 2 note Sonic Logo and composing a selection of Shotgun Jingles & Music Beds with Sonic Logos embedded on the front in the style of the track.
We also created a News Suite of 20 cuts for News, Travel & Weather.
Dustin Matthews, Former XL102 Program Director: "Alternative is an ever evolving format encompassing different musical styles and larger than life artists. Imaging Blueprint has elevated the production on XL102 to mirror that image and help our messaging cut through in a way never done before. If you want to sound like tomorrow, today, these are the guys."
After our success with XL102 Richmond, Imaging Blueprint was asked to create a core package of Idents for 106.5 The End.
Splintered Noises, pounding drums, mutilated vocals, amps, guitars and shredded bass tones. It was all incorporated in the mix to create a sound never heard before in Charlotte & North Carolina.
Radio X with Gordon Smart:
The Radio X Evening Show with Gordon Smart got Top of Hour Themes filled with twisted synths, guitar, amps and pounding drums!
Radio X transformed into Radio Grohl for one day in celebration of Dave Grohl's 50th birthday. We were lucky enough to get involved with the imaging for this momentous day creating some Radio Grohl’s Sonic IDs sampling his famous on stage screams!
Custom Sound Design:
A custom FX package was produced for the launch of Radio X and is still on air today in all station imaging.
Adam Burgess, Imaging Blueprint Director: "Dan Riedo’s name flashed up on my iPhone... I really didn’t want to pick up, but I figured I should at least humour him. After a brief chat and some studio time, the end result was some wooshes and bangs he could use for his station imaging."Dan Riedo, Former Head of Production - Radio X: "If Adam wasn’t responsible for some of the best sound design on the planet, I’d have little reason to maintain any form of relationship with him."Adam Burgess, Imaging Blueprint Director: "In all seriousness, it was a fantastic privilege to be asked to contribute to the many sounds that make up Radio X. I know the team there has done a fantastic job with imaging the station, it’s now the number 1 preset on my DAB radio!"
From 2008 to 2010, Imaging Blueprint Director Adam Burgess cranked it up to 11 whilst providing station promos/music demonstrators and gig promos for one of the world's most famous Rock radio brands.

Show Promos & Imaging
Arabian Radio Network launched 7 digital stations in Dubai back in May 2016!
We had the pleasure of producing the imaging for their dance station, Virgin Radio Beat!
Alex Agishev Content Director - Virgin Radio Dubai Group: "The Arabian Radio Network is the most innovative radio group in the region providing great content for millions of listeners every day. Virgin Radio Beat is one of 7 new digital brands launching and we are really excited to have collaborated with Imaging Blueprint on the audio package for the new station. The imaging sounds brilliant, it's fresh and innovative and we can't wait to hear it on the air!"

With the mobile phone being at the centre of our world, we wanted to ensure that we are embracing the latest technology as we continue to lead the media market in the UAE."
Adam Burgess, Imaging Blueprint Director: "It’s always fantastic to work with and shape big iconic brands like Virgin Radio. As big fans of dance music, Virgin Radio Beat was the perfect project to get stuck into! As well as sampling the hottest remixes, we created our own in-house EDM style sound design and music beds to help construct their new station image."
Tom Cross, Imaging Blueprint Director: "We tuned, delayed and splintered vocals to rhythmically punctuate the message making sure the energy never dipped and where the beat never stops. As well as the custom elements we also utilized elements from our CHR production library Imaging Blueprint which is licenced to ARN in Dubai.”
In 2019 we created two custom 'Top Of Hour' cuts for Dance FM.
We had the pleasure of working with chart topping singer, Amanda Wilson.
Best known for singing the classic 'Love On My Mind' with The Freemasons.
In 2013, the team at Virgin Radio Edmonton wanted some custom 'Virgin' workparts and imaging elements for the Night Show with Jeremy.
Jeremy White, Former Imaging Producer at Virgin Radio Canada: "IB is all you need! Their example work parts style of production shells is everything you need to get the creative juices flowing! Just one shell can turn into so many different pieces of imaging, it’s literally impossible to not be able to make something fresh and exciting with their stuff. Awesome idents, beds and FX paired with the best artist clips and live drops in the biz, you really don’t need anything else when you have Imaging Blueprint!"
Radio Topp 40 have been working with Imaging Blueprint for the last few years receiving regular updates with their Blueprint Jingles. Every quarter we liase with thier team to assess which musical styles are resonating with the Topp 40 playlist and which sounds they'd like to reflect in their latest Jingle Cuts.
Peter Malmqvist, Imaging Director for Radio Topp 40: "The guys at Imaging Blueprint has given us a unique sound on the market where our sonic logo resonates beautifully in both our Jingles and music, making us one of a kind."
Blueprint Jingles & Station Imaging
The team created new custom Jingles for Retro FM with vocals recorded in Sweden.
We delivered a package of 10 themes covering Motown, Disco, Retro Rock and 80s Pop!
Peter Malmqvist, Retro FM: “Retro FM is a modern station playing oldies which the guys at Imaging Blueprint have skillfully managed to capture. Our Jingles sound contemporary and ”today” while still matching the songs from ”yesterday” making us sound fresh and exciting. The production skills are second to none; just what you expect from these imaging wizards, we’re delighted with our new Jingle package!”
Small Paul, Imaging Blueprint Media Director: “It was a pleasure working on this package. The challenge was writing music with the perfect balance of old and new. Tracks that would fit the retro format of the station, but at the same time making them sound contemporary and in keeping with today’s modern music production. We were delighted with the end result.”
A classic hits package with a slight CHR edge was the order of the day for Magic 828.
Located in the heart of Cape Town, in 2015 Magic 828 was a new radio station for the port city on South Africa’s southwest coast.
The essential format of the station is all-hit music radio, mixed with a little talk, sport, news and community information. Their target market being 25+.
We knew they were in safe hands when we found out David Wartnaby and Kerri Murphy were to be their station voice overs. Both with their beautiful rich tones, they were a pleasure to work!
A long term subscriber to Imaging Blueprint's lB [CHR_Hot AC], the team at Jacaranda wanted a new Jingle Package to complement their on air sound. A small package was created consisting of 5 themes and a brand new 4 note logo. These themes demonstrate the variety of music played on Jacaranda FM.
Full length, medium, shotgun and instrumental mixes were supplied accompanied by a full News Suite to thread a consistent sound throughout each hour.
The UK's leading in-store media provider 'Immedia' approached us to create 3 bespoke themes for branding on their 02 in-store radio station.

During Brexit we worked on a massive campaign for all Bauer and their partner stations, producing over 400 Promos instructing local businesses what they needed to do once the UK had left Europe.
Classic FM is the largest national commercial radio station in the UK with more than 5 million listeners!
In 2012 Imaging Blueprint was asked to assist the Classic FM production team to create more than 50 promos for their 'Everything Facts' campaign - a glossary of Classical music. This project involved over 100 classical excerpts!
At the tail of 2015, Classic FM contacted us asking for more station promo production support.
Promo trails are heavily used on Classic FM to promote the vast array of shows, presenters, events and station supported charities.
Alistair Cockburn, Former Head of Production - Classic FM & LBC: "Imaging Blueprint produced a series of trailers for Classic FM that perfectly fit the brief. The audio successfully encapsulated the unique requirements of the brand, on time and to the highest standard - my team and I really enjoyed working with them and strongly recommend their work!"
Imaging Blueprint were approached to produce the national advertising spot for Camelot's National Lottery £250,000 giveaway across Commercial Radio. It was a Radio first and one of the largest cash prizes ever given away on UK Radio!
Airing on over fifty stations including the Capital Network, Heart Network, Bauer's Place Portfolio, Absolute Radio, Smooth Radio, Magic AM Network, Classic FM, Planet Rock and Talksport.
Camelot launched a large marketing push to promote the new look National Lottery which officially launched on October 5th 2013. As part of the promotion they bought advertising space across commercial radio culminating in a full 3 minute spot which contained a competition where one listener won £250,000 cash and two others won £25,000.
Toby D'Olier project managed the competition execution and legal logistics across the UK Commercial Radio spectrum. On top of that we produced a bespoke competition suite including themes, drones and sound design. The production needed to add excitement to the competition whilst also reinforcing the idea that this was a commercial message and not a standard competition in programming airtime.
To add to this; due to the large number of stations taking the advert, several different sounding themes were needed to suit the different formats of these stations. We composed and mixed CHR, Hot AC and Classical versions of the promotion's signature theme.
On top of the multiple Themes mixouts, drones and several sound design elements were created to emphasise various points along the way.
Liz Parkin - Head of Group Commercial Programming Global Radio: "They really understood the complexities of a piece of activity that had to be similar, but different depending on the format of the various stations carrying it.
It was a really smart use of bespoke music and effects that maintained the energy and drama of a 3 minute competition. I would definitely use them again"
From 2003 to 2005, Imaging Blueprint Director Tom Cross was Group Imaging Producer for the Galaxy Network.

The evolution of Planet Rock!
We call this pacakge...
'FROM THE CONTROL ROOM'
Towards the end of 2013 Imaging Blueprint were approached and asked to create a series of Musical Themed Stagers for Planet Rock. The brief was to produce a sound that captured both the on-stage and in-studio essence of a Rock band. A distinct sound not heard on UK Radio was required, so traditional Jingles were a 'no go.'
The team used authentic Rock sounds, dirty atmospherics, white noise, ear piercing feedback and screaming guitars to achieve this.
We wanted to create Rock music landscapes using authentic sounds of instruments and the recording studio atmosphere. The themes had to capture the true essence of Rock music!
On top of these themes, we produced a bespoke Sound Design and ID package to complement Planet Rock's new sound.
Ric Blaxill, Music And Content Director: “Planet Rock has never had a traditional Jingle package. So when we decided to introduce some new Imaging to air, it was a challenge to maintain and develop the distinct sonic identity the station has.”
"Working with the guys we are able to deliver all of this and more – the production values and original approach they offered were just what we were looking for. They took us somewhere else, with a distinct and crafted package that complements our existing station sound and sits perfectly around the great rock music we play.”
From 2010 to 2013 Imaging Blueprint consulted on all production within Bauer’s North East hub, based at Metro Radio. During this period we provided full station imaging for Metro Radio/TFM and CFM. This included custom produced music, sound design, beat-matched top of hours, ramps, artist branded intros, station promos and IDs.
2013 was a very successful year for Metro with multiple industry awards and nominations for their breakfast show and Programme Director and Station Sound, plus a record market share lead over their BBC & commercial competitors.
*Additional Sound Design in the demo supplied by our friends at Noisefusion
From 2010 to 2013 Imaging Blueprint consulted on all production within Bauer’s North East hub, based at Metro Radio. In 2012 we were asked to create a new sonic logo and Jingle package for TFM.

Blueprint KIIS - A Nu Breed of CHR jingle!
As KIIS continues to grow throughout Australia…so does their sound!
The KIIS team wanted something different to the usual CHR jingle, so we obliged.
Utilizing a 4 note ‘quick fire’ logo, artist acapellas and memorable contemporary themes; we created imaging and double donut talkover ramps for both the daytime and morning shows, blurring the lines between traditional ‘Jingles’ and station imaging.
As well as updating the Themes regularly throughout the year we also served the KIIS team with multiple breakdowns of all themes. These can be worked into every element of the KIIS station sound, complimenting Imaging Blueprint perfectly.
Duncan Campbell, National Content Director: "When expanding the KIIS brand into Melbourne this year we needed something to energise the station in a way that would excite audiences and set the brand apart from our key competitors. The team at Contraband Media have come up with a fresh twist to the usual and predictable 'jingle sound’, which integrates perfectly with our playlist. They're loud, vibrant, exciting and full of energy...we love them!"
In 2012 we were commissioned to revitalise the sound of the Magic AM network, which had been left untouched for over a decade!
Full length jingles, shotguns, ramps and talkover beds were produced based around Rock, Pop, Love Songs, Disco and Soft Rock genres.
